Vikasdaksh Industry – cotton, canvas, juco, calico & muslin tote bags, manufactured and exported worldwide

How a tote bag moves through our factory

Six controlled stages, each with its own checkpoint. Nothing leaves one stage until it has passed inspection for the next.

  1. Raw cotton & canvas sourcing and lab testing

Cotton, canvas, calico, muslin and juco come from audited mills with lot traceability. Every incoming roll is tested in our fabric lab before it is released for cutting.

    • GSM verification on every roll
    • Tear and tensile strength testing
    • Pilling resistance testing
    • 4-point fabric inspection and shade banding
  2. CAD pattern nesting & automated CNC multi-ply cutting

Patterns are graded digitally and nested for the least possible waste. A CNC oscillating-knife cutter cuts multi-ply lays with clean, consistent edges, so every panel in the order is identical.

    • Lectra CAD pattern grading and marker nesting
    • CNC multi-ply oscillating knife cutting
    • Panel bundling by size and shade
    • Offcuts reused for pouches or recycled
  3. Heavy-duty stitching & bar-tack handle reinforcement

Our Juki and Brother fleet includes walking-foot machines that feed thick canvas evenly. Handles, gussets, zips and pockets are assembled with high-tensile thread and bar-tacked stress points.

    • Juki walking-foot and lockstitch machines
    • Brother programmable bar-tack machines
    • Cross-stitched (box-X) handle joints
    • In-line quality checks every 2 hours
  4. Eco-washing & finishing

Where the style needs it, bags are pre-washed to control shrinkage and softened with biodegradable bio-enzymes instead of harsh chemicals. Outdoor styles get a water-repellent coating.

    • Bio-enzyme softening
    • Pre-wash shrinkage control (below 3%)
    • PFC-free water-repellent coatings
    • Steam pressing for a crisp finish
  5. AQL 2.5 quality inspection & Hashima needle detection

Every finished bag passes through a Hashima conveyor needle detector set to a 0.8 mm ferrous scan. Our QA team then audits each lot to AQL 2.5 for measurements, stitching, print and appearance.

    • Hashima conveyor detector, 0.8 mm ferrous scan
    • Broken-needle log and metal-free sign-off
    • AQL 2.5 final random inspection
    • Third-party inspections welcome
  6. Custom private-label branding & export packing

Your brand goes on every bag and every carton. We print, embroider, tag and pack to your specification, ready for export.

    • Screen printing with water-based inks
    • Heat transfer and DTF full-colour prints
    • Woven tags, printed labels and hang tags
    • Export carton packing, barcodes and carton marks
